For independent labels and artist management companies

A release week that doesn't run on group chats

HSV Campaign Lab sets up release campaign tracking, a press and asset library, and a streaming performance dashboard for independent labels and artist management teams: Dynamics 365, SharePoint and Power BI, configured for how your release calendar actually works.

Tell us about your slate

Set-up, documentation and handover. We don't pitch releases to platforms or playlists, handle royalties or payments, or distribute music.

Release campaign we trackillustrative · simplified

  • Pitch

A release becomes a tracked record the moment a pitch goes out, tagged by artist and release date.

  • Prep

Artwork, press kit and one-sheet live in one place, with every revision kept, not resent in a group chat.

  • Release

A deliverables dashboard shows what's due this release week and who owns it.

  • Report

Streaming and audience exports from each platform roll into one view after release day.

The shape most of our set-up work aims for. Your release cadence and platforms are agreed with you first.

Services#

Three fixed-scope pieces of work, each handed over with documentation so your team can run and extend it without us.

Release campaign pipeline

pipeline

Every release tracked as a record in Dynamics 365 from pitch to post-release, tagged by artist, format and release date, so nothing depends on one person remembering the calendar.

Inputs

  • Your current release calendar and roster
  • The stages a release moves through, from pitch to post-release
  • Who owns a release at each stage

Outputs

  • A Dynamics 365 pipeline with your release stages
  • Artist, format and release-date tagging on every record
  • A short set-up note in your shared drive

We track the campaign; we don't pitch to playlists or platforms ourselves.

Press & asset library

library

A SharePoint library for artwork, press kits and one-sheets, with version history, so everyone on the campaign is always sending the latest file.

Inputs

  • How assets currently move between your team
  • Who needs access to a given release, and who doesn't
  • Whether Copilot is available on your Microsoft 365 plan

Outputs

  • A SharePoint library with a per-release folder structure and version history
  • Entra ID groups scoping access to each release's team
  • A Copilot prompt set for first-draft press copy, reviewed by a person

Copilot drafts a starting point only; your team decides what actually goes out.

Streaming & audience reporting

reporting

A Power BI dashboard that rolls the exports you already pull from each platform's own artist dashboard into one view, by artist and by release.

Inputs

  • The platforms and export formats you already use
  • Which metrics matter to your team and your artists
  • How often the exports are available

Outputs

  • A Power BI workspace combining your existing exports
  • Views by artist, release and platform
  • An exportable view for an artist or label meeting

We bring your own exports into one view. We don't connect directly to platform APIs or access royalty or payment data.

Before and after, for a made-up label#

A six-person label team juggling release dates across a dozen artists, campaign assets scattered across personal drives and group chats. A hypothetical example, not a client.

  • pitchingPitch notes live in whoever wrote them's email.Every pitch becomes a tracked record tied to the release.
  • assetsArtwork and press photos get resent in group chats before every release. One press library per release, always the latest version.
  • deadlinesRelease-week deliverables are tracked in someone's head.A dashboard showing every deliverable and its due date.
  • reportingStreaming numbers get pulled by hand from five artist dashboards.Exports from each platform roll into one Power BI view.
  • handoffA new team member has to ask around to find where anything lives.A documented, consistent place for every release's materials.

About cost: Dynamics 365 and SharePoint are licensed per user, and Power BI by user or capacity. Storage costs scale with how much audio and artwork you keep. We estimate running costs with you before building anything.
